Pick the winner of a basketball game and the winner of an esports match. Make those trades separately, and one can still pay out if the other goes wrong. Put them in a Combo on Jupiter Predict, and both have to win. A trader can call two events correctly in a three-pick Combo and still lose the entire amount they put in.

Jupiter launched Combos on November 6, bringing a familiar sports-betting format, the parlay, to its Solana trading platform. Jupiter says Polymarket powers the feature. Traders can use the same wallet they already use on Jupiter to swap tokens or trade perpetuals.

What happens when you add another pick?

At launch, traders can choose winners outright (the moneyline), pick a team to beat a points spread, or predict whether a score will finish above or below a set total. Combos support selected sports and esports markets. Jupiter says it plans to add other categories.

The trade-off is easiest to see with a pair of coin flips. If two outcomes are independent and each has a 50% chance, the chance of getting both right is 25%. Add a third independent 50–50 pick and it falls to 12.5%. That’s why an extra pick can raise the potential payout so sharply. Real games can influence one another, so the figure that matters for an actual trade is the payout Jupiter shows before confirmation.

There’s another difference from trading individual contracts: a filled Combo cannot be sold. If the first two picks win, the trader still has to wait for the last one. And an order needs a market maker willing to take the other side. If it goes unfilled, Jupiter says users can remove a pick, reduce the amount or wait for a quote.

Why Jupiter is starting with sports

Sports gave prediction markets a much bigger audience this year. The Block’s July figures put combined trading volume on Kalshi, Polymarket and Polymarket US at $50.6 billion, up from $47 billion in June. By late October, Kalshi alone had passed $65 billion for the month. Those figures measure trading on those venues. Jupiter has yet to report volume for its new Combos.

The format is spreading, too. Blockster recently covered Crypto.com’s introduction of combinations of two to 20 event contracts and the NBA naming Kalshi and Polymarket its preferred prediction market exchanges. Jupiter’s pitch to traders who already use Solana is that they can build a multi-pick position without moving funds to another blockchain.

“Combos gives our users a more flexible way to trade those views, fully onchain and in one place.”

— Kash Dhanda, COO of Jupiter

Jupiter is putting predictions alongside spot trading and perpetuals in the same product. For someone used to selling a token the moment their view changes, the important decision comes earlier here. Before confirming a Combo, they have to be comfortable holding every pick through the result.
