This Privacy Policy explains how Blockster Media & Technology, LLC (“Blockster,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit blockster.com, watch our shows, use a voice AI concierge on our site, subscribe to Blockster Business Membership, or contact us about advertising and partnerships (together, the “Services”).
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and enquiry details, such as your name, company, role, work email and message, when you send a partnership or advertising enquiry or apply for a Flagship Station.
- Follows and email alerts, such as your email address and what you asked us to email you about: a Station, an author or a conference guide. We only start sending after you confirm, using the link in the first email we send you. You don’t need an account to follow.
- Business Membership details, such as company name, website, contact person, billing address and the plan you choose. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Content companies publish on their Station, such as news, announcements, logos and executive information.
- Voice concierge conversations. If you use a voice AI concierge on a company’s Station or article, your spoken questions are processed to generate answers. See section 5.
Information collected automatically
- Usage information, such as the pages and videos you view, how long you stay, the links and ads you click, and the site that referred you.
- Device information, such as IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser type, operating system and device identifiers.
- Cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy.
Information from others
- Companies that subscribe to Blockster Business Membership may give us information about their business and team for their Station and concierge.
- Embedded services such as YouTube and X may collect information when you interact with their content on our pages.
3. How we use information
- To publish and deliver our reporting and shows, and to show you relevant stories and events.
- To send the email updates you’ve confirmed, such as new stories from a Station or author you follow, or a conference guide when it’s out.
- To run Business Membership: set up Stations, publish company news, operate concierges, bill subscriptions and support members.
- To respond to enquiries, applications and requests.
- To display and measure advertising and sponsorships, including reporting aggregated results to sponsors.
- To understand how the Services are used and to improve them.
- To protect the Services, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
4. AI-generated presenters
Presenters in our shows, including Electra and Station correspondents, are AI-generated and are identified as such. Scripts, reporting and editorial decisions are made by the Blockster team. Interview guests are real people who have agreed to appear.
5. Voice AI concierge
Some company Stations and articles include a voice AI concierge provided by our partner Talk Society. When you choose to use it:
- Your browser will ask for permission to use your microphone. Nothing is recorded until you start a conversation.
- Your voice and the conversation transcript are processed by Talk Society on our behalf to generate answers. The company whose concierge you are using may receive the transcript and any contact details you choose to share, so it can follow up.
- Answers are AI-generated, may be inaccurate and are not financial, legal or investment advice.
- Please do not share sensitive personal information, such as passwords, financial account numbers or health information.
6. How we share information
- Service providers who help us run the Services, such as hosting, analytics, email, payment processing and our voice AI provider, Talk Society. They may only use the information to provide services to us.
- Business Members, for concierge conversations related to their company, as described above. Members see how many people follow their Station, but not who they are.
- Sponsors and advertisers, but only in aggregated or de-identified form, such as the number of views or clicks a campaign received.
- Legal and safety, where required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of Blockster, our users or others.
- Business transfers, if Blockster is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: for example, for the duration of a Business Membership plus the period required for tax and accounting records, concierge transcripts for no longer than needed to provide and improve the service, and your follows and email alerts until you unsubscribe. We then delete or de-identify it.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. California residents may request information about the categories of personal information we collect and how it is used, and will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us using the details below. Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link, so you can stop following a Station or an author, or stop any other email, at any time.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. International transfers
Blockster is based in the United States and our service providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
11. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “last updated” date. If changes are significant, we will provide additional notice.
