TicoBlockchain 2025 Brings Together Global Blockchain and Fintech Leaders in Costa Rica

TicoBlockchain 2025 Blockchain & Fintech Day, Costa Rica’s premier event for the Blockchain and Fintech ecosystems, will take place on March 27, 2025, at the Barceló San José Hotel.

Organized by the Costa Rica Fintech Association, this event will bring together industry experts, entrepreneurs, and innovators to explore the latest trends and transformative impact of blockchain and fintech in the region. 

Under the theme "Connect to the Future," the fifth edition of TicoBlockchain aims to unite a dynamic community of visionaries, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing. Attendees will have a unique opportunity to network, gain insights, and drive the evolution of blockchain and fintech technology.

The event will feature top speakers from leading companies such as Mastercard, Visa, NovoPayment, ChainMyne, Mayanor Ventures, Cumulo Pro, Intelchain, among others. They will share their expertise on cutting-edge topics, including:

Modular Blockchain: Moncho Santos Dios, CTO of Cumulo Pro from Spain, will deliver a keynote on how this technology is driving unstoppable applications. Open Finance: Dr. Ljubica Vodanovic from Peru will share her experience at the Peruvian banking supervisory authority and as the director of the Open Finance Institute. Blockchain & Fintech Regulation: Experts will discuss the perspectives and opportunities of regulation in the region. Payment Systems: Insights into the experiences of other countries and the opportunities for SINPE in Costa Rica. Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain: How the convergence of these technologies is shaping policy-making. Real World Assets and Urban Revitalization: Real estate tokenization for urban development, presented by the RISE project (Tecnológico de Costa Rica).
