Financial Layer-1 blockchain Pharos Network has announced that USDC will serve as the core stablecoin for builders within its Native-to-Pharos Incubation Program, reinforcing the network's push to become a settlement layer for real-world financial applications.

The announcement, made on April 17 from Hong Kong, pairs USDC integration with access to Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP), giving incubator participants a native toolkit for building scalable onchain finance — or what Pharos calls RealFi — without relying on third-party bridges.

What the Incubation Program Offers
The Native-to-Pharos Incubation Program targets early-stage teams building directly on the Pharos blockchain. The program launched with backing from notable investors including Hack VC, Draper Dragon, Lightspeed Faction, and Centrifuge, and is part of a broader ecosystem initiative supported by a $10 million fund dedicated to advancing native applications on the network.
Participating projects will now have direct access to USDC and CCTP as foundational infrastructure. According to Pharos, USDC will function as the primary settlement and collateral asset across several key verticals:
Tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) — providing a stable settlement layer for onchain representations of traditional financial instruments
DeFi trading and lending — serving as core collateral and a base pair for decentralized protocols
Global payment flows — enabling cross-border transactions with a widely recognized dollar-denominated stablecoin
CCTP, a permissionless onchain utility, enables near-instant and secure USDC transfers across supported blockchains. For developers in the incubator, this means the ability to build cross-chain applications that move capital efficiently without the security trade-offs associated with third-party bridging solutions.

Pharos CEO on the Strategic Fit
Wish Wu, Co-founder and CEO of Pharos, framed the USDC integration as a natural extension of the network's developer-first approach.
"With a rapidly expanding developer base already building on USDC, we are embedding globally used settlement infrastructure into the Pharos builder ecosystem. By leveraging USDC & CCTP, builders can natively extend into Pharos and operate across ecosystems without additional structural complexity."
The statement highlights a key thesis behind the integration: rather than asking developers to adapt to new tooling, Pharos is meeting them where they already are by incorporating widely adopted stablecoin infrastructure directly into its ecosystem.
About Pharos Network
Pharos Network is a Layer-1 blockchain purpose-built for real-world financial applications. The network features a modular architecture with deep parallel execution across both EVM and WASM environments, alongside built-in compliance-oriented capabilities designed to support institutional-grade asset interaction onchain.

The team behind Pharos includes engineers from Ant Group, and the project counts Hack VC and Faction VC among its backers. With the USDC integration now embedded into the incubation program, Pharos is positioning itself as a bridge between traditional financial infrastructure and decentralized networks — offering builders the tools to create applications where real-world assets can move seamlessly onchain.
