SAN JOSE, CA (November 2, 2026) — OKX, the global fintech company building the onchain future of money and markets, today announced the U.S. launch of OKX Card*, unlocking stablecoin spending for Americans where OKX is available.
The OKX Card is a Mastercard-powered virtual card that’s a key feature of OKX Pay, a solution built for spending, earning and holding stablecoins in one place. Customers can tap and go at the hundreds of millions of merchants that accept Mastercard globally, with zero transaction fees and zero FX fees worldwide. The spending limit of the card is determined by a customer's stablecoin balance on OKX Pay – the simple payment wallet built into the OKX app – with up to 10% cashback on eligible USDG purchases. Eligible U.S. customers can hold USDC, USDT and USDG; send money globally; and use their balances to back purchases through OKX Card.
And at launch, customers using OKX Card can receive rebates on select AI and entertainment subscriptions, capped at $20 total each month.
“Stablecoins can make moving money much faster and far more efficient," said Roshan Robert, CEO of OKX U.S. "OKX Card is a Mastercard-powered virtual card that lets eligible U.S. customers use USDC, USDT and USDG held on OKX Pay for online purchases and in-person tap-to-pay transactions. Eligible customers can also earn yield on eligible USDG balances held on OKX Pay, bringing holding, earning and stablecoin-backed spending together in one experience."
"Making it easier for consumers to use digital assets in their everyday lives is an important step toward expanding stablecoin adoption," said Seema Chibber, executive vice president, Core Products, North America, Mastercard. "With the OKX Card, consumers will be able to seamlessly access and spend stablecoins with the same simplicity and convenience they expect from everyday payments."
OKX has already built an impressive track record for making stablecoins more useful on a global scale:
In Europe, transaction data shows stablecoins are already being used for everyday life: 44% of Card transactions are food-related, including 26% at supermarkets and 12% at restaurants.
In Brazil, OKX Card users spent more than $2.4 million across the three World Cup host countries during the tournament’s first month, underscoring cross-border utility.
On October 6, OKX launched OKX Money, a digital dollar app that brings stablecoin savings, payments and rewards into one experience, with a focus on emerging markets.
*OKX Card is issued by WebBank and will be available to US customers in select states and territories, excluding Massachusetts, New York, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
