Moca Chain’s mainnet launch puts identity at the center of a business platform combining customer verification, payments and rewards.
Signing up for another service often means handing over the same personal information again. Letting an AI agent sign up for you adds another question: how does the business know the agent has your permission?
Moca Network is building infrastructure to address both.
Moca Foundation and Moca Network, an Animoca Brands flagship project, have announced that Moca Chain mainnet is live. The blockchain is built for digital identity, allowing users to carry verified credentials between participating applications and disclose only what a business needs to know.
The launch shifts Moca Network’s focus to AIR, its platform combining identity, money and loyalty through one integration.

Fewer Documents, More Reusable Proof
The model starts with a trusted organization verifying something about a customer—for example, that they have completed a know-your-customer check or hold a particular membership status.
That organization issues a digital credential. The customer can then present it to another participating service, which receives confirmation of the relevant fact rather than another copy of the underlying documents.
According to Moca, credentials can be updated or withdrawn when a customer’s status changes, allowing applications to check whether they remain valid.
For users, the appeal is fewer repeated checks. For businesses, it is less onboarding friction and less sensitive information to hold. Whether a credential is accepted still depends on the receiving service’s requirements.
“People should not have to hand over their personal information again and again to every service they use, especially as AI agents start acting on our behalf,” said Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands.
“Moca Chain gives people ownership of their credentials and gives businesses a way to trust them without holding more data than they need. That is at the heart of Animoca Brands’ mission to advance digital property rights, starting with the most personal property of all: our identity.”
Three Products, One Business Integration
AIR packages that infrastructure into three products:
AIR Identity: Businesses can issue credentials based on checks they already perform and accept credentials from other organizations.
AIR Money: The company describes this as embedding compliant global payouts into the customer experience.
AIR Loyalty: A points engine lets brands and merchants manage customer rewards.
The commercial proposition is broader than faster sign-ups. A business could recognize an eligible customer, onboard them and deliver payments or rewards through the same integration.
“Launching mainnet is a foundation, not a finish line,” said Kenneth Shek, managing director of Moca Network.
“From here, our focus is AIR, which lets any business recognize its customers, pay them, and reward them through one integration, and extend that same trust to the AI agents working for those customers. Every business that joins makes the network more useful for the next one.”
When the Customer Sends an AI Agent
Moca says AIR is also extending credentials to AI agents, so businesses can verify who an agent represents and what it is authorized to do.
That distinction becomes important when software starts shopping, booking or opening accounts on someone’s behalf. Recognizing an agent’s user does not automatically establish permission for every action.
Blockster’s coverage of MoonPay’s expansion into AI-assisted crypto purchases shows how quickly these interactions are moving into financial services. Reusable credentials could help businesses evaluate the authority behind a request.
This also connects to NVIDIA’s agent-safety initiative involving more than 100 organizations. NVIDIA’s controls address agent access and behavior; Moca’s identity approach addresses the person and permissions behind the agent. They tackle related problems, although the announcement does not describe an integration between them.

A Distribution Opportunity Across Animoca’s Ecosystem
Moca names partners including SK Planet, Biletinial, Oyunfor, Open Campus, OneFootball, RewardMe, Lamborghini, REAP, Inveo Kripto, Plume and Nansen.
The company also points to Animoca Brands’ ecosystem of more than 600 portfolio companies and over 700 million addressable users. Those figures describe potential reach, rather than active Moca Chain users or completed AIR integrations.
The adoption test is whether businesses accept one another’s credentials and give customers a reason to reuse them. An identity network becomes more useful when a check completed in one place opens a door somewhere else.
Businesses can explore AIR partnerships, while developers can access its documentation.
