Prediction markets are getting a new base layer — and it’s dollar-denominated. Myriad has officially integrated USD1, the stablecoin issued by World Liberty Financial (WLFI), making it the first prediction market protocol to use USD1 as its primary settlement asset.
The rollout goes live today on BNB Chain, marking Myriad’s shift from experimental design toward standardized, liquid onchain markets — and away from fragmented, volatile settlement assets toward stable, institution-ready infrastructure.

Why USD1 Matters for Prediction Markets
Prediction markets depend on three things to scale: liquidity, trust, and clarity of pricing. By anchoring settlement to USD1 — a dollar-backed, transparent stablecoin — Myriad is addressing all three at once.
USD1 will power Myriad’s first USD1-denominated markets, beginning with Candles, a fast-paced market format introduced as part of Myriad’s BNB Chain expansion. Over the course of Q1 2026, Myriad plans to migrate its BNB-based prediction markets entirely to USD1, consolidating liquidity and standardizing settlement across the platform.
For users, this means cleaner pricing, reduced volatility exposure, and a more intuitive trading experience anchored in dollar terms rather than fluctuating native tokens.
As Zach Witkoff, Co-Founder of World Liberty Financial, put it:
“Prediction markets are a growing category within decentralized finance. Integrating USD1 into this environment brings stability, transparency, and trust to markets where those qualities are essential.”

USD1 itself is designed to operate as a composable, dollar-native unit of account across DeFi — and prediction markets represent a natural next use case where stable settlement is not just helpful, but foundational.
Candles: Faster Markets, Automated Resolution
The first USD1-powered product to launch is Candles, a new market structure designed for speed and simplicity. Available initially to users outside the United States, Candles feature:
Short timeframes
Continuous liquidity
Automated market resolution
The result is a prediction environment that feels closer to real-time trading than long-duration forecasting — with USD1 providing stable settlement beneath the surface.
More market formats and functionality are planned as part of a phased expansion in early 2026, as Myriad continues to evolve its product stack.

A Full-Circle Moment for Myriad
For Myriad, the integration is more than technical — it’s symbolic.
The protocol sits at the intersection of media, information, and markets, with roots in Decrypt and Rug Radio, and a broader mission to let users trade on narratives, forecasts, and consensus. By pairing that vision with USD1, Myriad is positioning itself as a bridge between retail participation and more serious, infrastructure-grade prediction markets.
As Farokh Sarmad, Co-Founder and President of Myriad and Rug Radio, noted:
“From the moment I interviewed President Trump in September 2024, I knew WLFI would be taken seriously by the industry. This integration is a full-circle moment — Myriad is now the first prediction market to settle in USD1.”
Prediction Markets, Growing Up
Prediction markets have long promised better price discovery and information aggregation — but inconsistent settlement, fragmented liquidity, and volatile base assets have limited their reach.

By standardizing around a dollar-backed stablecoin and expanding onto BNB Chain, Myriad is signaling that prediction markets are entering a more mature phase — one focused less on novelty, and more on reliability, liquidity, and scale.
