Seoul, South Korea — Travelers in South Korea can now turn Kaia-issued USDT into real cash or a prepaid transit card, thanks to a new collaboration between Kaia DLT Foundation and DaWinKS, a blockchain fintech company known for its secure Digital ATMs (DTMs).

The new integration brings stablecoin utility to life for international visitors, allowing users to withdraw local fiat or issue transit cards in 85 legal currencies from 15 countries—directly from their Kaia USDT balance.
Located at seven of South Korea’s top tourist spots—including N Seoul Tower, Myeongdong, and Lotte Mart—DaWinKS’s DTMs make it seamless to go from stablecoins to Korean won (or even USD before departure) in just a few steps.

Real-World Offramps for Web3 Travelers The user-friendly machines rely on the same passport and facial recognition tech used by Korean airport immigration to verify identity. Once KYC is complete, travelers simply scan a barcode or QR code and receive cash or a reloadable transit card within seconds. “This isn’t just about cash withdrawals—it’s about turning Web3 assets into functional travel tools. Kaia is focused on practical use cases, and this integration meets users exactly where they are: on the ground, in motion, and connected to culture.”
Dr. Sam Seo, Chairman of the Kaia DLT Foundation Global Expansion & What’s Next Since late 2024, DaWinKS’s DTMs have supported Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT. The Kaia integration marks the first rollout of Kaia-native USDT and paves the way for future support of $KAIA and other ecosystem assets. The service is currently exclusive to foreign tourists, but DaWinKS plans to open access to local users later this year. “DaWinKS is building a global footprint for stablecoin usability. Partnering with Kaia, which collaborates with leaders like Tether and LINE NEXT, puts us in a strong position to scale internationally.”
