Jakarta, Indonesia — Indonesian conglomerate Indomobil Group is stepping beyond its automotive roots to tackle one of the country’s biggest challenges: equitable access to education. The company announced a partnership with Space and Time (SxT) to onboard more than 50,000 students onchain, delivering verifiable credentials and trustless tuition payments powered by blockchain.
Education Meets Blockchain
Until now, families—many of whom are unbanked—relied on cash payments to local schools, which then used intermediaries to move tuition to education providers. The process was slow, opaque, and burdensome.

The new program transforms the system. Using SxT tokens as payment rails, parents and students can pay schools directly, eliminating the need for banks or middlemen. Course completions are recorded immutably on SxT Chain, giving students a permanent, verifiable record of their education.
