Anchorage Digital and Real Finance Partner on Tokenized Assets

Real Finance and Anchorage Digital have partnered to support the full lifecycle of tokenized assets, combining tokenization infrastructure with regulated custody, settlement, and treasury services.

The partnership brings together Real Finance's Layer 1 blockchain for real-world assets and Anchorage Digital's institutional crypto platform, which includes custody, trading, settlement, staking, and treasury management services.

The companies say the goal is to make it easier for institutions to issue, manage, and scale tokenized assets without relying on fragmented infrastructure providers.

Connecting Tokenization and Custody

Under the agreement, Anchorage Digital will provide custody and treasury infrastructure for the Real Finance ecosystem and its native $ASSET token. The firm will also serve as a custody layer for future tokenized financial products launched on the Real Finance blockchain.

Real Finance will provide the blockchain infrastructure, issuance tools, lifecycle management systems, and risk frameworks designed for tokenized real-world assets.

The two companies will also support each other's institutional pipelines, helping connect issuers, asset managers, and enterprises with tokenization and custody solutions.

Solving a Fragmented Market

Interest in tokenized real-world assets continues to grow across private credit, real estate, funds, and structured financial products. However, institutions still cite fragmented infrastructure as one of the biggest barriers to adoption.

Many tokenization projects rely on separate providers for issuance, custody, settlement, servicing, compliance, and liquidity, creating operational complexity for institutions looking to move assets onchain.

"Real Finance and Anchorage Digital are collaboratively building the institutional infrastructure for the next generation of tokenized financial markets," said Ivo Grigorov, CEO of Real Finance.

"Tokenization alone is not enough. Institutions need trusted, regulated layers that integrate custody, servicing, settlement, and lifecycle management."

Building for Institutional Adoption

Nathan McCauley, Co-Founder and CEO of Anchorage Digital, said institutions need more than tokenization rails to bring traditional assets onchain.

"RWAs are one of the clearest examples of how blockchain can modernize capital markets, but institutions need more than tokenization rails alone," he said. "They need regulated, secure infrastructure that can support custody, settlement, and lifecycle connectivity at scale."

Real Finance is building an EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain focused on real-world asset tokenization and management. Anchorage Digital operates the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States and was last valued at $4.2 billion, with backing from investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, KKR, Visa, and GIC.

As tokenized assets move from pilot programs to production environments, both companies are betting that integrated infrastructure—not just tokenization itself—will drive the next phase of institutional adoption.
