Hello Blockchain Hustlers, meet Julius! That’s right – Julius is a proud member of the Bored Ape Yacht Club and has become the Orangutan Outreach’s official Bored Ape Ambassador to the Metaverse. Woohooo!

Orangutan Outreach is a registered 501(c)(3) US charity. EIN: 26-0521285
BAYC (Bored Apes Yacht Club) is a collection of 10,000 Bored Ape NFTs—unique digital collectibles living on the Ethereum blockchain. When you buy a Bored Ape, you’re not simply buying an avatar or a rare piece of digital art. You are gaining membership access to a club whose benefits will increase over time. Each Bored Ape is one-of-a-kind and programmatically generated from over 170 possible traits, including expression, headwear, clothing, and more.
Paris Hilton, Jimmy Fallon, Justin Bieber, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Steph Curry, Mark Cuban, Steve Aoki and The Chainsmokers are just some of the popular Bored Apes owners who often flex their NFTs on Twitter. Would you join them and also ape into a Bored Ape?
As the newest addition at Orangutan Outreach, Julius aims to grow the Orangutan Outreach community along with all his degen friends and fellow apes at the super exclusive BAYC and the whole NFT space.
“Crypto is the key that unlocks the cages. My Bored brothers and sisters are stepping up and truly helping our critically endangered cousins in Borneo and Sumatra. With their help, we’re going to turn NFTs into NFTrees. #ApesTogetherStrong,” he explained.
According to Orangutan Outreach, Julius will be leading their ‘Bored in Borneo’ campaign, which will involve a massive expansion of their reforestation work across Borneo, Indonesia. Julius is also working on securing funds to build out sanctuary space for special-needs orangutans who cannot be released back into the wild.

Julius is the newest addition at Orangutan Outreach.
The islands of Borneo and Sumatra are the only 2 places in the world where orangutans live freely in the wild, with the majority of them residing in the Indonesian part of Borneo, referred to locally as Kalimantan. Unfortunately, both Sumatra and Borneo have been heavily destroyed by brutal deforestation, mining and land conversion.
Julius is determined to save the trees and apes in Borneo, starting with a list of things to do in Borneo when you are bored:
- Rescue orphaned and displaced orangutans
- Rehabilitate them so they can be returned to the wild
- Release them into a safe area of protected forest
- Build large, forested enclosures for unreleasable orangutans
- FOREST FOR THE FUTURE — Restore large areas of forest that were burned in years past for future orangutan habitat
- Work with local villagers to prevent forest fires
- Partner with local farmers on sustainable agriculture practices to grow fruit for the orangutans being cared for at the sanctuaries
- Collaborate with local attorneys to work within the Indonesian legal system to protect critically endangered orangutans
