At ⚡️Blockster we run a weekly 35-minute design meeting, which consists of three parts:
1) How was the workweek. (10 minutes): everyone looks through their calendar of events and tasks and makes a short report on what they did, what metrics they achieved, what difficulties they faced, and how they finally managed to solve the problem.
2) Critical Review (15 minutes): Each of the team plans the topic of the critical review in advance so that everyone knows what to expect and that we do not waste time in the meetings themselves setting the agenda. Again, each speaks in turn, and each decides if he has a topic that he would like to critically examine during the week, and on what day. If someone doesn't have a topic, we ask them to share what they will be focusing on next week.
3) Announcements (5-10 minutes): Finally, I make announcements and talk about company-wide updates that affect the design team. This can be information about the latest innovations within the Blockster, a report based on user reviews of the product, or more tactical things, for example, Alina Pony report on the latest changes in our design system. This is a note rather than a discussion, and if necessary, we add this to the agenda for team meetings on Mondays at 4 pm.
Thank you, guys! You are best 🚀
