Blockster V2 Is Live — A Curated Web3 Platform Built for the Industry’s Top Brands

I’ve been in crypto since 2017, and for the past three years I’ve been building Blockster alongside some of the most ambitious founders and Web3 brands in the space. Through every market condition, we stayed consistent — publishing, connecting, and spotlighting the builders who kept pushing regardless of headlines.

Blockster has never been about chasing hype cycles. It has always been about long-term infrastructure, real relationships, and giving this industry a platform that reflects its depth and global reach.

Earlier this year, that long-term vision took a major step forward.

We quietly launched Blockster V2 — a Web3 media platform powered by our L3, Rogue Chain. Built on Arbitrum Orbit, it makes earning BUX lightning-fast, gasless, and fully abstracted for a seamless user experience.

On February 11, we officially opened the doors, began onboarding our community, introduced our first wave of Hub partners, and continued delivering the news and stories you’ve come to expect — now on a much stronger foundation.

This is still the MVP. It was a quiet launch on purpose. But it marks the transition from Blockster as “just a blog” to Blockster as a true Web3-powered ecosystem.

Introducing BUX — A Loyalty Layer for Our Community

One of the exciting new upgrades in V2 is the introduction of BUX, our onchain points system built specifically for the Blockster platform.

BUX is a loyalty layer for our readers and community members. You earn points by engaging — reading stories, watching interviews, sharing content on X, and actively participating in the ecosystem we’re building.

And I want to be very clear about what BUX is.

BUX is non-transferable. It cannot be traded or listed on a DEX. It exists exclusively within Blockster.

Blockster is not an earning platform. BUX is not a speculative token. It’s a participation rewards system designed to give back to the people who consistently engage with Web3 content and support the ecosystem.

BUX points can be redeemed for shop discounts, games, airdrop access, and platform perks. The intention is simple: reward genuine engagement, not farming behavior. We are building alignment between our content, our community, and the brands that are shaping this industry.

Blockster Hubs — A Curated Network for Web3’s Top Brands

Blockster Hubs are not open listings.

They are invite-only, designed specifically for the top brands in Web3.

We’re not trying to be CoinMarketCap with thousands of tokens and endless noise. We’re building the opposite — a curated ecosystem made up of credible, established, and actively building teams. The goal is simple: when content appears in your Blockster feed, you can trust that it comes from a legitimate, high-quality source.

Each Hub gives selected partners the ability to publish articles and videos, launch branded merchandise, and soon list and promote events directly inside the Blockster ecosystem. When a Hub publishes, the content automatically syncs into our global newsfeed. Subscribers receive instant in-app notifications and email alerts when new stories, drops, or updates go live.

This isn’t about volume. It’s about credibility.

By partnering exclusively with leading brands in Web3, we’re ensuring that Blockster becomes a trusted content layer for the industry — not an overcrowded listing site. We are intentionally protecting the integrity of the feed.

Blockster is evolving into the connective layer between crypto natives, builders, founders, investors, professionals, and the crypto-curious entering the space. This has always been the long-term vision — to connect the global Web3 industry inside one ecosystem.

From Media Platform to Web3 Lifestyle Brand

News is only one aspect of the Blockster vision.

With the launch of the Blockster Shop, and events and ticketing rolling out in Q2, we are expanding into something much broader — a Web3-powered lifestyle ecosystem.

I don’t want Blockster to be a place where you simply read about crypto. I want it to be a place where you experience it.

That means discovering streetwear and community merchandise from projects you genuinely follow. It means finding local crypto events from your favorite brands. It means participating in curated experiences in major global crypto hubs.

From Miami, NYC, and LA to Dubai, Singapore, and Hong Kong, crypto culture is no longer niche. It’s global. It’s fast-moving. And it’s becoming part of everyday life.

Blockster is being built to reflect that shift.

Gratitude — And What’s Ahead

On a personal note, I want to thank everyone who has supported Blockster over the years. The founders who trusted us with their stories. The brands who collaborated with us during bear markets. The readers who kept showing up and engaging when sentiment was low.

When the market was down, we kept pushing. When narratives turned negative, we kept building. The consistency through those quieter phases is what made this next chapter possible.

We’ve started onboarding our first Hub partners. We’ll soon be kicking off our X Spaces series in March, led by our new Head of Partnerships, Jane V. Herman. We’ll continue shipping platform updates, expanding the ecosystem, and refining the experience thoughtfully and intentionally.

Blockster V2 is live. BUX is active. Hubs are onboarding.

This is still early. It’s still the quiet phase. But this has always been my long-term vision — to turn Blockster into a true Web3-powered media platform and evolve it into a lifestyle brand that connects the global industry together.

And we’re just getting started.
