PROSPER is betting that crypto traders will put a price on performance even when they don't own a piece of it.

The platform launched its **MemeRWA** framework, introducing Performance Markets that pair verifiable onchain investment strategies with separate crypto-native tokens. Built on Pharos Network, the model gives users two ways to participate: Vault Shares that provide direct exposure to a strategy's NAV, and p{VAULT} tokens that trade independently based on market demand.

That creates a very different model from traditional real-world asset tokenization. Rather than turning ownership, profits or cash flows into tokens, [PROSPER](https://www.pros-per.xyz/) keeps the underlying strategy inside a Vault while making its performance visible onchain. Traders can then use that data to value a separate token that carries no ownership rights or claim on the Vault's assets or profits.

## One Strategy, Two Different Assets

Every Performance Market begins with a third-party Curator creating an onchain strategy inside a PROSPER Vault. That produces two instruments. **Vault Shares** provide direct exposure to the strategy and its NAV.

**p{VAULT}** is a fixed-supply crypto token associated with the Vault and its Curator, but it carries no ownership interest in the Vault and no claim on its assets, profits or performance. That means a p{VAULT} token does not need to trade in line with the value of the underlying strategy.

Instead, each token initially trades through a public bonding curve before moving to external liquidity after what PROSPER calls "graduation." The Vault's performance remains visible onchain, giving traders a measurable economic reference when valuing the separate token.

> "Crypto markets have demonstrated the power of open participation and collective conviction, while onchain finance has made economic performance increasingly transparent," said Laura Shi, chief business officer at Pharos.

"MemeRWA brings those ideas together: verifiable performance data provides the signal, while p{VAULT} remains independently priced through participant activity."

## Where Performance Enters the Token Economy

PROSPER has also created a mechanism that establishes a direct protocol interaction between successful Vault performance and the corresponding token.

When a Vault strategy moves above its high-water mark, a predetermined portion of eligible performance fees can automatically be used to purchase its p{VAULT} token from third-party decentralized exchanges. Those tokens are then permanently burned.

According to PROSPER, the process is predefined in smart contracts rather than controlled manually and is not intended as a price stabilization or market-making mechanism.

The result is an unusual economic structure. p{VAULT} holders do not receive the Vault's profits or own part of its portfolio, but sufficiently strong strategy performance can trigger transactions that reduce the circulating token supply.

## 1 Billion Tokens, No Insider Allocation

Every p{VAULT} begins with a fixed supply of **1 billion tokens**.

PROSPER says there are no presales, team allocations or insider allocations. Vault holdings, NAV, accrued fees, bonding-curve reserves and subsequent buyback transactions can also be observed onchain.

The Curators themselves are responsible for deploying and managing the strategies behind individual Vaults. PROSPER provides the underlying infrastructure, while Pharos Network supplies the blockchain environment on which the system operates.

The structure arrives as crypto developers continue experimenting with how real-world and onchain economic activity can be represented in liquid markets.

MemeRWA pushes that idea in a different direction. Rather than turning an asset or its cash flows into a token, PROSPER is making verified performance data part of the information traders can use to price an entirely separate crypto asset.

That leaves the market, rather than the Vault's NAV, to decide what that association is worth.
