JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Citi and Wells Fargo kicked off a busy week of bank earnings on Tuesday. Bank of America and Morgan Stanley followed on Wednesday, with BNY and Charles Schwab next on xStocks’ calendar.

For blockchain investors, these are increasingly familiar names. xStocks’ earnings graphic highlights **more than 30 companies** reporting this week whose shares are represented by its tokenized products. The lineup extends beyond banks to healthcare, insurance, logistics and other businesses.

The platform [reports more than $44 billion in total transaction volume](https://xstocks.com/partners/brand-kit) as of October 13. That is activity across xStocks—not volume generated by bank stocks alone or by this week’s earnings.

The bigger story connects two changes happening at once: crypto platforms are bringing traditional stocks onto blockchains, while banks are building blockchain services of their own.

## A Much Bigger Earnings Calendar

The [xStocks graphic](https://x.com/xStocksFi/status/2110055219686215952) includes JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Citi and Wells Fargo on October 13, followed by Bank of America, Morgan Stanley, State Street and Commerce Bancshares on October 14.

Later in the week, it lists PNC, BNY, U.S. Bancorp, Charles Schwab, First Horizon and Interactive Brokers, alongside regional banks including M&T, Truist, Citizens and Regions. Insurance names include Marsh and Travelers.

Johnson & Johnson, UnitedHealth, Domino’s, Fastenal, J.B. Hunt, Prologis and Alcoa also appear. That mix makes this a broader digital-stock story: investors can follow company earnings across several industries through products that trade on blockchain networks.

These are third-party tokenized products issued by Backed Assets (JE) Limited and backed by underlying securities. A company’s appearance on the calendar does not mean it issued the token or partnered with xStocks.

## What the Big Banks Reported

JPMorgan earned $15.3 billion, up 6% from a year earlier. Goldman earned $5.29 billion, while Citi reported $5.2 billion in profit and its strongest third-quarter revenue in a decade. Wells Fargo’s profit reached approximately $6 billion.

Bank of America’s earnings were held back by a $1.2 billion regulatory settlement charge. Excluding it, earnings were $1.08 per share, compared with the reported $0.91. Morgan Stanley benefited from a nearly 41% jump in stock-trading revenue to $5.8 billion and record wealth-management revenue of about $9.1 billion, according to [Reuters](https://www.reuters.com/business/finance/morgan-stanley-profit-rises-equity-trading-strength-2026-10-14/) and its earnings release.

For investors holding tokenized versions of these stocks, those business differences still matter. A blockchain token changes how an investment can be held and traded; it does not change the company’s earnings.

## The Banks Are Building on Blockchain

**JPMorgan is putting bank deposits onchain.** Its [JPM Coin deposit token](https://www.jpmorgan.com/kinexys/jpm-coin) lets approved institutional clients move money and settle transactions on Base, an Ethereum network. It represents bank deposits, rather than shares in JPMorgan.

**Citi is connecting stablecoins with ordinary payments.** In September, [Citi and Coinbase expanded their partnership](https://www.citigroup.com/global/news/press-release/2026/citi-coinbase-expand-collaboration-connect-digital-fiat-payments-corporations-consumers) to connect banking services with stablecoins, including plans for merchants to accept stablecoin payments and receive traditional currency through Citi.

**Goldman Sachs and BNY are working on tokenized funds.** Their [money-market-fund initiative](https://www.canton.network/news/bny-and-goldman-sachs-launch-tokenized-money-market-funds-solution), announced in July 2025, uses Goldman’s blockchain technology to record ownership of selected fund shares accessed through BNY. It is another example of familiar investments gaining a blockchain-based record.

**Morgan Stanley is bringing crypto into brokerage accounts.** E\*TRADE [completed its rollout of Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana trading](https://www.morganstanley.com/press-releases/etrade-completes-crypto-spot-trading-rollout) for eligible clients in July. Its broader digital-asset strategy also looks at tokenization.

> “The digital asset trend has shifted from a focus solely on cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin and Ethereum, to exploring the tokenization of all assets,”
>
> — Amy Oldenburg, head of digital asset strategy at Morgan Stanley, in a [published discussion of digital assets](https://www.morganstanley.com/insights/articles/digital-assets-push-into-the-mainstream-as-global-adoption-surges)

Bank of America, Citi, Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo are also among the institutions [backing a planned dollar stablecoin venture](https://www.bankingdive.com/news/bofa-wells-fargo-citi-back-upcoming-stablecoin-goldman-pnc-capital-one/829318/). That creates another connection across the earnings lineup: several banks whose stocks appear in xStocks’ calendar are helping build digital-money services themselves.

These projects serve different purposes—payments, investments, fund records and crypto trading. Together, they show how blockchain is entering more parts of the financial system.

## What to Watch in 2027

Bank of America provided a specific forecast for next year during its Q3 earnings call.

> “For 2027, we currently expect full-year growth of NII to be 8% or more”
>
> — Alastair Borthwick, chief financial officer of Bank of America, on the [Q3 2026 earnings call](https://stockanalysis.com/stocks/bac/transcripts/651459-q3-2026/)

In plain English, the bank expects to earn at least 8% more from interest after paying its own interest costs. The forecast assumes three quarter-point interest-rate increases by June 2027. Changes in rates, borrowing or deposit costs could change that outcome.

Across the wider group, this quarter suggests investors should watch whether strong stock trading and wealth inflows continue, and whether banks can grow lending without paying too much to attract deposits. That is an interpretation of the results, rather than a shared 2027 forecast from the banks.

The clearest dated blockchain milestone is the **bank-backed stablecoin venture targeting the first half of 2027**. Its 21 participating institutions announced that timetable separately from the Q3 reports, [Reuters reported](https://www.reuters.com/business/finance/goldman-sachs-bofa-others-plan-issue-dollar-stablecoin-together-2027-2026-09-01/).

For digital stocks, the next test is practical: can investors get competitive prices, find enough buyers and sellers when news breaks, and move their holdings reliably between platforms?

## Where xStocks Fits

xStocks brings stock-price exposure into blockchain wallets and trading venues. Blockster previously covered [xChange’s effort to connect traditional and onchain liquidity](https://blockster.com/xstocks-launches-xchange-to-unify-tokenized-equity-liquidity), as well as [the growth of tokenized stocks outside normal exchange hours](https://blockster.com/solana-tokenized-equities-hit-684m-as-stocks-start-trading-around-the-clock).

Its reported $44 billion volume measures transactions, not the amount currently invested. The same token can trade repeatedly and add to that total each time.

Investors also need to understand the product they hold. [xStocks do not provide shareholder voting rights](https://support.kraken.com/articles/xstocks-faq), and access depends on country, with U.S. persons excluded.

The earnings calendar makes the shift tangible. Investors can now follow a bank’s quarterly results, trade a token linked to its stock, and watch that same bank develop blockchain payments or investment services. Traditional finance and digital stocks are becoming more closely connected—across far more than two banks.
